The current research aims to identify the quality of life of obese female students in universities in southern Iraq. The research problem lies in observing an increase in obesity rates among women in general, and female university students in particular. The researcher used the descriptive approach with the intentional style by applying the research scale and extracting the results. The research community included female students of the faculties of physical education at the universities of Maysan, Basra and Dhi Qar, numbering (733) students at various levels. The research sample was represented by obese female students, numbering (213), with a percentage of (29.05%) of the original community. The research sample was chosen intentionally. The results showed that obese women are more susceptible to mood swings due to feelings of discomfort. One of the most important recommendations is the need to urge those working in university activities to pay attention to the participation of all female college students in sports activities and create an atmosphere of sports competition. It is also necessary to transform sports activities and events from optional to mandatory by allocating weekly hours for them.
